Edibility Abiu fruits are yellow, about the size of a tennis ball, with a jelly-like flesh surrounding 1-5 brown seeds. The flavor is delicious but hard to describe with notes of caramel and vanilla.
Characteristics Abius are medium- sized trees growing to around 35 feet. Typically in Florida they produce fruit in the Fall. The fruit grow directly off the branches. Abius like full sun but will also tolerate partial shade.
