Edibility Leaves, flowers, and berries are edible. The taste is similar to a pea with a touch of peanut. Katuk can be eaten raw or cooked. It is a complete protein and is very high in vitamin C.

Characteristics Katuk can grow to about 7 feet and is happy in sun or shade. It is easy to grow from cuttings. Growth is slow at first, but once established, katuk is a fast grower, allowing for frequent harvests.
