Edibility Passion fruit are eaten raw. The inside consists of multiple seeds encased in gelatinous flesh. This is what is eaten either as is or strained and juiced. Passion fruit is delicious but quite sour, and may need to be sweetened depending on taste.

Characteristics Passion Fruit is a vining plant that loves a trellis or fence. It can also be allowed to climb up trees. It needs lots of sun and likes well-drained soils.
