Edibility Starfruit gets its name from the star shape that results when it is cut in cross sections. The fruit is crisp and very juicy with low sugar content and a mildly sweet and slightly citrusy flavor.

Characteristics starfruit trees are fast-growing but delicate in shape. They reach heights of around 30 feet and produce copious amounts of fruit, flowering in the Spring and again in the Fall. Starfruit will do well in full sun and also partial shade.
